Instructions for Manuscript Preparation, Submission and Publication
Shiksha Samvad is an International Journal of Multidisciplinary Research invites original, high-quality and unpublished manuscripts from researchers, academicians, educators, professionals and research scholars working in multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary areas. Authors are requested to carefully follow the guidelines provided below to ensure smooth editorial screening, efficient peer review and timely processing of their manuscripts.
Manuscript Submission
Authors should submit their manuscripts through the Online Submission System available on the journal website. The manuscript must be submitted in an editable Microsoft Word format and should comply with the journal’s prescribed paper template and publication policies.
Authors are strongly advised to prepare their manuscripts according to the prescribed template. Manuscripts that do not follow the required structure, formatting or ethical standards may be returned for correction before editorial review.
01 Criteria for Manuscript Submission
✓ The manuscript must be original, plagiarism-free and unpublished.
✓ The manuscript must not be under consideration by another journal.
✓ AI-assisted content, where used, must be limited, transparent and consistent with the journal’s policy.
✓ The writing must be clear, concise, coherent and academically appropriate.
✓ All data, findings and supporting information must be accurate, valid and reliable.
✓ Results, discussion and conclusions must be logical and adequately supported.
✓ The subject matter must fall within the multidisciplinary scope of the journal.
✓ All sources, funding information and potential conflicts of interest must be properly disclosed.
02 Preparation of Manuscripts
Authors are required to follow the journal’s instructions while preparing and submitting manuscripts. Non-compliance with these requirements may result in the manuscript being returned for correction or may cause delays in the review and publication process. The manuscript should be complete, properly organized, accurately referenced and prepared in accordance with accepted academic writing standards.
03 Manuscript Structure
Manuscripts should normally be arranged in the following order:
The structure may be modified where appropriate according to the nature and discipline of the submitted research. However, all manuscripts must be prepared according to the prescribed paper template.
04 Manuscript Format
✓ Manuscripts may be submitted in English, Hindi or another language accepted by the journal.
✓ Manuscripts must be submitted in Microsoft Word format only (.doc or .docx).
✓ Authors must follow the prescribed paper template and formatting instructions.
✓ Tables, figures and illustrations must be clearly numbered, captioned and cited in the text.
✓ References must be accurate, complete and presented in a consistent academic citation style.
05 Review and Publication Process
All submitted manuscripts undergo preliminary editorial screening followed by a double-blind peer-review process conducted by at least two qualified subject experts. The manuscript is evaluated on the basis of originality, relevance, research quality, methodology, clarity, ethical compliance and academic contribution.
The editorial decision may include acceptance, minor revision, major revision, resubmission or rejection. The corresponding author will ordinarily receive the editorial decision or revision request by email within 5–15 days of submission, depending on reviewer availability and the nature of the manuscript.
06 Documents Required After Acceptance
01. Final corrected manuscript prepared according to the journal template.
02. Signed Copyright Agreement Form.
03. Signed Author Undertaking and Originality Declaration Form.
07 Publication Fee and Timeline
The journal does not charge any manuscript submission fee, peer-review fee, article processing charge or publication fee. Editorial and publication decisions are based entirely on academic quality, originality, relevance, ethical compliance and the recommendations received through the peer-review process.
Accepted manuscripts are ordinarily scheduled for publication after receipt of the final corrected manuscript, required declarations and completion of copy-editing, formatting and proofreading.

Names, email addresses, institutional details and other personal information entered on the journal website will be used exclusively for editorial, peer-review, publication and communication purposes. Such information will not be disclosed to any other party except where required for legitimate journal operations, ethical investigation or compliance with applicable law.
